- Ensure safe and successful project delivery, including risk management, compliance with legal requirements, and meeting time, budget, and quality targets
- Leadership & Talent Management: Build, develop, and lead the team while managing performance
- Develop the project and sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and advancing business opportunities
- Contract & Financial Management: Own budgets, maximise profitability, manage forecasting, and negotiate upstream and downstream
- Bid & Proposal Management: Lead the development of bids, tenders, proposals, and presentations
- Sales Ownership: Generate new projects, leverage innovation and technology, build strong client relationships, and exceed revenue goals
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, contribute to management reporting, and participate in meetings, briefings, and decision‑making forums
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to project standards, operating models, and corporate policies
- HSE Leadership: Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and lead regular project review meetings
- Promote company values and contribute to the development of Business Unit strategy
- Technical qualification in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering (desirable)
- Degree in project or construction management (desirable)
- Professional certifications such as APM, Prince2, IOSH (desirable)
- Mandatory safety qualifications: SMSTS, NEBOSH, CSCS
- Strong written and numerical literacy
- Proven track record delivering complex projects safely in M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments
- Experience developing new project opportunities and managing a P&L
- Demonstrated team leadership capability
- Strong background in bids, tenders, proposals, and client presentations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong relationship-building ability and confidence-inspiring leadership style
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-focused
