About the team

To support our goal of becoming the leading global online banking payments provider, we are strengthening our capabilities in information security and cybersecurity. We are currently restructuring our internal security setup to enable us to scale and grow our teams.

To get us started, we are now looking for a Head of Security and Tech Compliance to lead our newly formed team within the Tech Foundation Domain at Trustly.

About the role

As Head of Security and Tech Compliance at Trustly, you will play a key role in ensuring our security and technical compliance. You will lead a team of experts in cybersecurity, information security, and technology compliance, guaranteeing that security is a core principle in all our operations. Since this team is newly formed, you will have a crucial role in establishing the team's workflows and procedures.

You will be part of a highly motivated management team in the Tech Foundations Domain and work closely with our Risk and Compliance organization.

• Define a security strategy that matches our risk appetite
• Execute and implement the strategy
• Serve as an external point of contact for operational security matters
• Maintain digital operational resilience testing
• Maintain ISMS and security certifications/audits
• Perform vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoringImplement security culture initiatives and deliver security training and awareness programs to employees

• Several years of leadership experience, preferably from a similar role
• Proficiency in building and leading cyber security and information security teams
• Expertise with operational security
• Skill in driving cross-functional initiatives
• Background working with legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO27001, DORA, EBA)
• Knowledge in the payment industry and/or a regulated environment is a plus
• Hands-on experience as a developer and/or infrastructure is a plus
