Job Description - HR - HR Bus Part - Nordics - 0101

  • Location: Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden

    Currently HR support is from our central function in the UK, however a local HR presence is now required to help support the rapid growth of the organisation in the Nordic region.

    The Human Resources Business Partner will be a critical member of the Nordic team. The role is responsible and accountable for administration, coordination and delivery of human resource functions including recruitment, benefits enrolment, processing and administration, human resource policies and practices, talent management. Duties include planning, organising, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing.

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will take full responsibility for the completion of small to medium sized cabling projects or an element of a large project under the control of a Project Manager.

    Please note that the successful candidate will need to be fluent in both English and Swedish Language. 

    What you will be doing as our HR Business Partner: 

  • Local HR daily support for the growing team based in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

  • Recruiting talent into the growing team in a timely manner.
  • Creating contracts of employment which reflect current Nordic laws.
  • Aligning policies and practices with the rest of the group where possible.
  • Responsible for onboarding process of the new employees.
  • Implementing and maintaining an employee handbook covering all relevant working practices and employment laws.
  • Management of all pay related functionality for the Nordics and provide to the UK for central processing on a monthly basis.
  • Manage employee relations issue including conflicts and appropriate resolution; assist with Performance Improvement Plan development and delivery as required.
  • Responsible for administering at the local level: compensation/remuneration; equal employment/affirmative action; job descriptions; new hire and termination processing; all metrics; training and development; training records; and salary planning coordination.
  • Responsible for taking a hands-on approach and successfully monitoring the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Acts as a valued and trusted partner for employees.
  • Responsible for the administration and communication of all benefit (governmental and other) plans to employees.
  • Conduct new-employee orientations
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Actively promote, monitor and implement equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, working closely with the EDI focus group.
  • Implement and administer the performance review process for the Nordic region (aligned with the group where possible)
  • Provides public information such as verifying employment, respond to unemployment claims and lead department with appeals, monitors workers' compensation claims and coordinates work between employee and insurance carrier.
  • HR metric reporting for Nordic region to be provided on a monthly basis.
  • Perform other HR and administration related duties as assigned.
  • What we are looking for in our HR Business Partner: 

    Essential Experience required: 

  • HR degree or equivilent relevant HR qualification 
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in both English and Swedish Language
  • A proven track record of candidate generation/assessment/hiring through a variety of channels.
  • Experience working in a scale up fast growing business.
  • Self-starter who works well within a team but someone that can also work independently.
  • Industry experience and knowledge preferrable.
  • Proactive with a positive, flexible, assertive, can do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced production environment with a passion for solving problems while being resourceful.
  • Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality in all circumstances.
