Job Description - HSE Coordinator

We are currently looking for a HSE Coordinator in SkellefteÃ¥

Our client is looking for a HSE Coordinator at their facility in SkellefteÃ¥

Tasks

Practical HSE control measure implementation and continuous improvement, example:

- Updates of chemical substance registry

- Use of PPEs

- Signposting

- Chemical inventory

- Secure that SDS are available at quality control laboratories and shop floor

Compliance audits:

- Assist area management with the reception of the monthly site management HSE audit findings and follow up on required actions

- Development and implementation of weekly area management HSE audits with performance tracking and clear actions in order to close any gaps

- Assists and ensure regular safety walks and support/ensure to improve/close findings

Management of accidents, incidents etc.:

- Ensure correct use and follow-up of the incident management system, TIA

- Assist all levels of area management with incident investigation, action planning and follow up of corrective action execution

Capability development:

- Development and execution of HSE training plans for quality control laboratories

- Follows up with all levels of area management making sure all area employees, consultants and visitors are up do date regarding HSE training

Requirements

- Experience of HSE implementation in a chemical lab environment (Chemical Substances, Chemical waste management, Safety Audits)

- Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus

- Highly organized and results driven
