The Role: In-House Lawyer / Senior Legal Counsel

As an In-House Lawyer / Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with colleagues to further develop Allente’s Nordic Legal function. Based in Stockholm or Oslo, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing business-oriented and efficient legal services within corporate governance and general corporate law to Allente’s management and board of directors.

• Utilizing your specialist expertise within intellectual property law, contract law, marketing, and consumer law to support Allente’s business operations in contractual and other legal matters, analysis, and advisory services, as well as leading or participating in high-priority negotiations.

• Acting as a trusted advisor and sparring partner in contractual and other matters, ensuring compliance with Nordic laws and regulations relevant to Allente’s operations.

You will report directly to our Chief Legal Officer and be part of a qualified legal team of four corporate lawyers based in Oslo and Stockholm.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Swedish or Norwegian law degree.

• At least 5–7 years of experience from a law firm and/or in-house legal department.

• Experience in dynamic and complex industries, preferably the media industry.

• Broad experience within general corporate law and specialist competence within intellectual property law, contract law, marketing, and consumer law.

• A strong understanding of laws and regulations relevant to Allente.

• Experience in drafting, developing, and negotiating complex agreements.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Fluency in a Scandinavian language

• Excellent English skills, essential for Allente’s international environment
