Join Doconomy, a market leader in impact technology, here to rewrite the financial system. We are dedicated to driving global climate action and financial wellbeing by equipping banks with innovative tools that educate and inspire positive change.
Our ecosystem of tools builds on behavioral science and strong data. Impact Transactions helps people understand and reduce the climate impact of their spending, and Impact Finance makes it simple and enjoyable to save and invest toward personal goals. By integrating these solutions into existing banking apps, we help people reach their financial goals while contributing to a sustainable future. Our acquisition of Dreams Technology in 2023 strengthened our behavioral science expertise and made us the first holistic solution for climate and financial wellbeing in banking.
With over 100 clients in more than 30 markets, including key partnerships with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Mastercard, S&P Global, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and Boston Consulting Group, Doconomy is at the forefront of the industry. We are backed by leading investors such as Mastercard, Ingka Group, Citi Ventures, CommerzVentures, ABN AMRO Ventures and Ålandsbanken. Fast Company has named us one of the world’s most innovative companies, and Wired has featured us among the top 100 startups globally.
Our diverse team includes former bankers, engineers, designers, ESG experts, behavioral scientists and thought leaders in business and service design. Together we bring experience from some of the world’s largest digital and sustainable banks, corporations and fintechs.
More than ever, we have the opportunity to make financial wellbeing and sustainable living a reality for millions of people. We are looking for courageous individuals who want to join our impact-driven team and shape the future of finance.
We're looking for a proactive and ambitious IT & Operations Manager to join our team in Stockholm and take ownership of our IT function.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the technology, systems, security, and tools that keep Doconomy running, while continuously improving how we work. From managing our IT infrastructure and supporting colleagues to evaluating new solutions and driving smarter ways of working, you'll play a central role in enabling the entire organisation to perform at its best.
As part of a small, ambitious team, you'll have the autonomy to shape your function, challenge existing processes, and turn ideas into practical improvements. We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with business understanding, curiosity, and a genuine drive to make things better.
Own and maintain IT security policies, access controls, and compliance standards, including active participation in audits.
Evaluate, procure, and manage software, systems, and external IT vendors, balancing business needs, security, and cost.
Manage and continuously improve the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and tools.
Provide timely and professional technical support, troubleshooting, and incident management across software, networks, and access, ensuring efficient resolution in line with business priorities and service levels.
Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware and equipment, including procurement, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement.
Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, ensuring appropriate access, equipment, and security.
Provide training and guidance to colleagues on IT best practices, security awareness, and effective use of technology.
Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, automate workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and agentic ways of working to improve productivity and reduce manual work across the organisation.
Maximise the value of existing tools and systems by driving adoption, improving utilisation, and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
Identify and implement improvements to internal processes, workflows, and ways of working across teams.
Coordinate and support cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.
Support the planning and execution of company meetings, events, and activities.
Proven experience in an IT support, systems administration, or operations role.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and network technologies.
Experience with ticketing systems, including Jira.
Experience supporting macOS and managing devices through Apple Business Manager and Iru.
Proficiency with Google Workspace administration.
Understanding of IT security and risk management. Experience with Vanta, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation, and a genuine interest in agentic ways of working.
Excellent communication and service skills, with a problem-solving attitude. (English is our working language)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new technologies and improving processes.
Business understanding: you see tools as investments and care about both cost and value.
Familiarity with hybrid work environments and strong advocacy for hybrid work models, fostering productivity and collaboration across distributed teams.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar.
Familiarity with cloud-based solutions beyond Google Workspace (e.g., Office 365).
Knowledge of IT asset management and inventory control.
Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM systems.
Experience with project coordination or event support.
We've listed quite a few skills, tools, and responsibilities above, and we know it's unlikely that one person will tick every box. That's okay. We're looking for the right addition to our team, not a perfect résumé.
We're a small, ambitious team where every individual's drive, curiosity, and ownership make a difference. You'll own your function, shape how it evolves, and have a real opportunity to influence how the entire company operates.
IT is a business-critical function at Doconomy. Our systems, tools, security practices, and ways of working form the foundation for how effectively everyone can do their jobs. We need someone who understands that responsibility and sees technology as a way to enable people, not just something to maintain and control.
We're looking for an enabler. Someone whose instinct is to explore what's possible rather than explain why something can't be done. Someone who can balance security with usability, introduce smarter ways of working with AI and automation, educate colleagues, and turn ideas into practical improvements.
You don't need to know everything from day one. But you do need the curiosity to learn, the confidence to take initiative, and the ambition to build something better. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
