DESCRIPTION

Data architecture is fundamental to data management and a critical element in Sinch's strategic vision and roadmap. Our goal is to establish and implement data management and governance practices across the entire organization.

We’re looking for a Lead Data Architect to join our Corporate Architecture team to shape how data is governed, structured, and used across Sinch.

This strategic role involves defining data strategy, modeling, warehousing, consumption and mastery of data. You’ll lead solution design across teams implementing data initiatives and promote how the organization understands and leverages data products.

As Lead Data Architecture, you’ll translate Sinch’s business strategy into data execution. You’ll interpret global technology trends, advise on business strategy, help define IT & data strategies, and provide a clear framework for reaching Sinch’s long-term goals.

• Define and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture standards, governance frameworks, and strategic roadmaps.
• Drive key design decisions for key data entities such as Customer, Product, Installed Base, Chart of Accounts, Contracts, among others.
• Shape data organization and management through the delivery of conceptual and logical data models, data catalog, data movement, and integration recommendations.
• Work closely with data producers, consumers, data governance, and architects across the company.
• Own and evolve the data chapter of the Corporate Target Architecture in partnership with stakeholders.
• Promote a data-as-an-asset mindset and champion global best practices in forums and cross-functional groups.
• Provide solution options that align with both short- and long-term business needs and drive execution plans.
• Advise on business roadmap prioritization and support strategic data program delivery.

 REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with DCAM, DAMA or other Data Management frameworks. 
• Expertise in data architecture including logical data modeling, data definitions, data mapping specifications, and design logical data flows. 
• Proven experience collaborating with data owners and stewards to translate their business requirements for development teams. 
• Prior exposure to data quality management or other data management areas is considered a plus.
• Experience in large data warehousing solutions, preferably GCP.
