This is us  

You will be part of a global, diverse, dedicated team of learning professionals. The team consists of expertise in adult learning and design, academic partnerships and VGU video service. The function has a central role as the center of excellence for Learning within Volvo Group University and the Volvo Group. We provide training and learning experiences, well rooted in todays and future business needs and prepares us for what´s around the corner. This involves sharing research, providing expertise on cutting edge learning methods and solutions based on internal and external best practice. 

 

What you will do

• Use your expertise in adult learning to secure and stabilize the long term outcomes of Volvo Group's investments in new learning initiatives. 
• Act as an ambassador and coach for Volvo Group's learning strategy and lifelong learning, contributing to our evolution as a learning organization.
• Drive continuous improvement of learning methodologies, principles, models and tools to ensure qualitive and effective learning solutions with long term effects. 
• Build bridges between new learning opportunities, new technologies and cross-functional cooperation.
• Stay updated on the latest research and trends in learning theories and perform benchmark to identify and integrate new insights.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Solid experience in adult learning theories and practices.
• Pedagogical and facilitation skills with a solid trainer track record, both developing and running courses and programs. 
• Ability to make research-based learning practical and effective.
• Curiosity in new technologies and ability to understand how to apply them in learning solutions.
• Ability to lead learning initiatives to support our transformation journey.
• Customer focus, business acumen and a consultative mindset 
• Natural collaborator capable of working cross-functionally with partners and stakeholders.
• Communication, listening, coaching and change management skills.
• University degree or equivalent experience
