Legal Operations Associate

TL;DR - We’re hiring a legal operations associate to build the backbone of legal at Lovable. You’ll partner closely with legal, sales, and ops to streamline how we contract, automate legal workflows, and scale the function with precision. This is a builder role—ideal for someone who moves fast, loves systems, and wants a front-row seat to enterprise dealmaking, world-class counsel, and the legal infrastructure of a breakout AI company.

What we’re looking for

• 1–5 years of experience in legal operations or corporate law—ideally with time spent as as a full-time lawyer or intern at a top-tier law firm

• Strong exposure to U.S. legal concepts, especially around corporate, commercial, and privacy matters

• Clear interest in tech and startups—ideally with hands-on experience at a high-growth company or product-led team

• Confident reviewing and redlining standard agreements across different areas

• Comfortable building templates and workflows from scratch—and knows when to escalate vs. move fast

• Crisp written communicator with a bias toward clarity and structure over legalese

• Pragmatic, low-ego, and execution-oriented—gets things done without overcomplicating

What you’ll do

In one sentence: Build and run the systems that make Lovable’s legal engine fast, clean, and scalable.

• Own legal tooling, ticketing, and contract workflow automation from day one.

• Maintain and improve contract templates, version control, and fallback clause libraries.

• Partner with Sales to accelerate deal flow - triage requests, manage approvals, and support redlines.

• Review contracts with confidence, escalate smartly, surface risks early.

• Ensure signed contracts are stored, searchable, and monitored post-signature.

• Get hands-on exposure across privacy, IP, and corporate housekeeping, and learn fast from senior legal and execs.
