About us:

H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. The Logistics Manager for our plant in Bodenoversees and coordinates the movement of goods, materials, and supplies within the different production facilities. You will play a critical role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• You will be recruitingand managing the first set of blue-collar workers on a day-to-day basis. These blue-collar workers are expected to be recruited in the fall of 2024 and will be responsible for supplementing the project delivery team with support for running cranes.

• Assisting in the design and implementation of the “Traffic Management System” (TMS) and the “Warehouse Management System” (WMS) from a user perspective.
• Development of initial safety guidelines and SOPs for the Shipping Team.
• Oversight of the engineering, erection, and commissioning of the packaging lines and the coil logistics system
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Q ualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in an operations-focused role.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English.
