Summa Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Manager with a passion for driving societal and environmental impact. Founded in 2016, Summa Equity is an investment firm focusing on the thematic areas of Circularity, Energy Transition, Sustainable Food, and Tech-Enabled Resilience. The mission of Summa is to invest in solving global challenges.

The role


As Manager, you will drive the Foundation’s thought leadership agenda and support core elements of its operations. You will work closely with the Foundation’s CEO, Summa Equity teams, and external partners. This role is well-suited for someone who combines exceptional analytical strength, excellent writing skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.


 


Key responsibilities include:



  • Lead and deliver the Foundation’s thought leadership agenda

  • Research, prepare analysis, and write thematic reports in partnership with Summa Equity experts

  • Produce the Foundation’s annual impact report and manage impact measurement

  • Support operational management and processes across the Foundation

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives within the Foundation’s focus areas

  • Perform other responsibilities as needed in a lean and dynamic team environment


 


Who are we looking for?


We are seeking a candidate with:



  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or similar fields

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business planning and project management

  • Strong track record of managing and measuring social and environmental impact, ideally with a business or investment lens

  • Proven ability to write high-quality reports and translate complex analysis into clear narratives

  • Proven experience synthesizing and presenting data in a structured, compelling way

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools for handling impact and financial datasets

  • Experience applying impact measurement frameworks (e.g., Theory of Change)

  • Strong research and due-diligence capabilities, including assessing social/environmental interventions and business models

  • Ability to develop concise presentations and strategic materials using tools such as PowerPoint or similar

  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills

  • Comfort working closely with senior leaders and managing diverse stakeholders

  • Experience of impact management and measurement is a must

  • Experience in energy, food systems, circularity, and/or technology is meritorious

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), additional languages are an advantage

  • A relevant academic degree
