Marketing & CommunicationsManager

As Marketing& Communications Manager you are responsible for thestrategy, planning and execution of all marketing and communicationareas with the goal of making PlasticFri a world known globalplayer. You will work with all brand, marketing and social mediachannels and activities as well as external communications and PRactivities. You will manage and build upon our current marketingteam. The role is both very strategic and hands-on operational andwill involve setting strategic priorities, executing on plan,coaching team members and collaborating with all other teams atPlasticFri. As a member of the management team you are key inshaping the strategy and building our company and making sure wedeliver on our mission. Your main responsibilities will beto:

  • Develop and execute marketingstrategy and plans, define target audiences and set marketing goalsand metrics
  • Design and execute on marketingcampaigns across all channels including digital and print and toincrease brand awareness and sales
  • Manage thebrand positioning, brand strategy, build a brand toolbox and ensurebrand awareness and consistency across all platforms and that allcommunications reflect PlasticFri’s brand values andmessaging
  • Manage public relations andPlasticFri’s public image and define PR strategy and plan andhandle all activities, media relations and pressreleases
  • Proactively follow industry andmarket trends and conduct research when needed to identity andunderstand trends, consumer behaviour and innovations
  • Forecast and manage the marketing and communicationsbudget and allocate resources effectively
  • Track, analyze and report on all data analytics tomeasure results of all activities and take action whenneeded
  • Identify innovative ways of working andpartner opportunities to scale marketing activities
  • Manage team and identify and hire new talent, setobjectives and coach team into a high performing team

    In order tosucceed in the role, we believe that you have:

    • At least 3-5 years of experience within marketing workingwith a global brand
    • Proven ability to developcomprehensive marketing and communication strategies that drivebusiness growth and brand awareness with excellentresults
    • Skills and experience in maintainingand evolving a brand's identity and plan
    • Experience from working with communications and publicrelations, having managed media relations, press campaigns andreleases
    • Great knowledge about differentSocial Media channels including Linkedin, Instagram,TikTok
    • Some proficiency in graphic designsoftware such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign) and familiarity with design tools like Canva orSketch.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading andmanaging a team with high engagement, setting strategic directionand aligning marketing efforts with overall businessgoals
    • Excellent project management skills withstrong organizational and time management and prioritization skillsto ensure successful outcomes and a track record of deliveringresults on marketing campaigns
    • Ability tomanage budgets effectively, allocate resources efficiently, andanalyze data to measure the impact of marketing efforts.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craftcompelling messaging, engage diverse audiences, and convey thebrand's story effectively.
    • Ability to workwell in fast paced and changing environments and handlepressure
    • Fluent speaking and writing skills inEnglish and Swedish
