🔍 About the Role

In Helsingborg, we design and build large-scale industrial equipment used primarily for freezing and chilling of food products. Our systems combine advanced refrigeration technology with air and conveying solutions to create equipment for some of the world’s biggest food producers.

As an Innovation & Development Engineer, you work close to the core of how our industrial freezers are developed; from early concepts and prototypes to solutions proven in operation. You contribute to technical development affecting system design, interfaces, and production performance.

The scope of the role can develop based on your strengths and interests, from defined technical ownership to broader system or technical leadership responsibility.

🧠 What You Will Do

• In larger projects, you contribute to and gradually take on technical leadership, working together with a technical project manager and other development engineers.
• In smaller projects, you act as the primary technical owner, taking responsibility for execution and gradually for full project delivery.
• You collaborate closely with engineers across automation, software, mechanical, and electrical domains.
• You contribute to introducing digital tools and machine learning into development, improving energy efficiency, reliability, and system performance.

Hard Skills & Experience

• A degree in engineering (mechatronics, software, mechanical, electrical, or a closely related technical field).
• Experience in technical roles, in industrial solutions, or complex engineered systems
• Interest in working with multidisciplinary systems, combining software, mechanical, and electrical elements.
• Comfortable owning technical content, with ambition to grow into broader project delivery responsibility.
• Interest or experience in applying data analysis or machine learning to engineering challenges is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are an asset.

• A strong problem‑solver with curiosity for connecting multiple technical disciplines and understanding how they interact at system level.
