MySQL/MariaDB Administrator

Our client, a global information technology services and consulting company, is recruiting for a MySQL/MariaDB Administrator to join their business in Sweden.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of MySQL/MariaDB database architecture, including storage engines, replication, and performance tuning.

• Hands -on experience with MariaDB administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• In -depth knowledge of master -slave replication concepts and best practices.

• Experience with MaxScale or similar database load balancing and proxy solutions.

• Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.

• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.

• Excellent problem -solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hands -on experience with Linux systems administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS.
