About the role:
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Sales, you will have ownership of Sproud's commercial development across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Your key priorities will be leading HoReCa growth in Sweden, supporting the planning and execution of Swedish retail, and building Sproud across the wider Nordics. From finding and managing the right distribution partners to prospecting coffee chains, independent coffee shops and hotels, you will play a pivotal role in Sproud's Nordic expansion. You are responsible for the external retail sales force in Sweden and will plan, set targets, create sales tools and follow up sales performance.

This is a highly autonomous role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions and delivering results in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Key aspects of the role:

• Own and execute Sproud's commercial strategy across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

• Lead the growth of Sproud within the Swedish HoReCa market, with a strong focus on winning new customers.

• Support the planning and execution of the Swedish retail strategy, working closely with internal teams and retail partners.

• Develop and deliver annual business plans, customer strategies and regional budgets across the Nordic markets.

• Build Sproud in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland through clear market-entry and growth plans.

• Identify and prospect coffee chains, independent coffee shops, hotels, wholesalers, foodservice operators and other strategic customers.

• Identify, assess, appoint and onboard the right distribution partners across the Nordic markets.

• Lead distributor management, performance reviews, forecasting and joint business planning to deliver sustainable growth.

• Negotiate commercial agreements, manage budgets and provide accurate sales forecasts and commercial reporting.

• Responsible for the external retail sales force in Sweden, setting targets, creating sales tools and follow up sales performance including Nielsen and POS data.

• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Success to deliver best-in-class customer and distributor execution.

• Spend approximately 40% of time in Sweden and 60% travelling across the Nordic markets, equating to about 100 travel days per year.

• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify future growth opportunities and shape the Nordic strategy.
  

About You

We're looking for someone who combines commercial excellence with an entrepreneurial mindset.

You're someone who enjoys building markets, taking ownership and making decisions. You understand that sustainable growth comes from balancing customer success with commercial performance, and you're motivated by creating long-term value rather than simply delivering short-term sales.

• 3-5 years' commercial experience within FMCG.

• A proven track record of delivering profitable growth.

• Strong experience across HoReCa/Foodservice, particularly coffee chains, coffee shops and hotels, with a solid understanding of Retail.

• Proven experience managing distributors and developing international markets.

• Demonstrable success in winning new business, finding distribution partners and managing strategic customer relationships.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and commercial profitability. Previous P&L ownership is advantageous.

• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working independently with a high level of autonomy.

• Based in Sweden and willing to travel extensively across Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland, for approximately 100 travel days per year.

• Fluent English and Swedish are essential. Additional Nordic languages would be an advantage.

• Experience within beverages, coffee, dairy, plant-based products or premium FMCG brands is highly desirable.
