Operating Room Scrub Nurse (Plastic Surgery)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The clinic is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Scrub Nurse to support its growing plastic surgery practice in Malmö. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and clinical teams to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient surgical environment. This position requires strong surgical competence, excellent teamwork, and a high level of precision. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready 
• Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments, supplies, and support 
• Maintain strict sterility and infection control standards 
• Conduct instrument counts before, during, and after surgery 
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and seamless workflow 
• Assist with postoperative cleaning, restocking, and room turnover 
• Document relevant surgical information according to clinic protocols 
• Provide compassionate interaction and support to patients pre- and post-operatively 

• Licensed Nurse (RN) in Sweden 
• Additional specialty training as an Operating Room/Scrub Nurse 
• Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, or outpatient surgical environments preferred 
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and operating room protocols 
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and organized in fast-paced clinical settings 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills 
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required 

This is a full-time role with suggested hours of M-F 7-5.
