Jobbeskrivning

På Linxon jobbar vi med energiomställningen och arbetar med nyckelfärdiga anläggningar till elnätet. Vårt arbete bedrivs i projektform där olika funktioner är nödvändiga för att säkerställa framgångsrik leverans av våra projekt. Avdelningen ”Operations Support” består idag av multidisciplinärt team om 8 personer som är ansvariga för tidsplanering & dokumentationskontroll i projekten. Linxon har etablerat dokumentationssystem (PIRS) och använder olika planeringsverktyg men främst Primavera P6 och Microsoft Project.

Inom teamet finns resurser allokerade utomlands, och du behöver därför känna dig bekväm i en internationell kontext och att kommunicera på engelska och svenska i tal och skrift.

I rollen som ”Operations Support Manager” ska du leda teamet och skapa bra förutsättningar i form av struktur, rutiner och processer för högkvalitativ anläggningsdokumentation och robust tidsplanering. Du har personalansvar och förväntas jobba delvis operativt samt har stor flexibilitet att expandera och utveckla teamet.

”Operations Support” är nyckel för framdrift, kvalitetssäkring och samverkan mellan alla parter i projektet avseende dokumentationen och tidsplanering. Arbete sker i nära samarbete med projektteamet inom Linxon, såväl som mot kund och underleverantörer. Du kommer jobba väldigt nära Operations och projektledare för att förstå behov i projekten och stötta framdrift.

• Du har tidigare erfarenhet av att jobba med teknisk dokumentation eller tidsplanering för EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) verksamhet.
• Du innehar en teknisk utbildning eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet.
• För att trivas i rollen behöver du uppskatta att leda och utveckla team med olika kompetenser och kulturell bakgrund. Du tycker att hålla många bollar i luften och att samarbeta med olika aktörer och intressenter i en snabbväxande organisation.

Placering

Rollen utgår ifrån Linxons kontor i Västerås. Vi erbjuder även möjlighet att ansluta sig till vårt Hybrid working-koncept, en hybridmodell där anställda kan arbeta hemifrån upp till 2 dagar i veckan.

Linxon is a joint venture between our co-owners Hitachi Energy and AtkinsRéalis. We are an expansive company in the electric power industry. We are now looking for a driven and enthusiastic manager for our newly created "Operations Support" department!

What we do?

At Linxon, we work with the energy transition and work with turnkey installations for the electricity grid. Our work is conducted in project form where various functions are necessary to ensure successful delivery of our projects. The "Operations Support" department currently consists of a multidisciplinary team of 8 people who are responsible for planning and documentation control in the projects. Linxon has established a documentation system (PIRS) and uses various planning tools, but mainly Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. 

"Operations Support" is key for progress, quality assurance and collaboration between all parties in the project regarding documentation and planning. The work is done in close collaboration with the project team within Linxon, as well as with customers and subcontractors. You will work very closely with Operations and Project Managers to understand the needs of the projects and support progress.

What will you do?

In the role of "Operations Support Manager", you will lead the team and create good conditions in the form of structure, routines and processes for high-quality documentation and robust time management. You have personnel responsibility and are expected to work partly operationally and have great flexibility to expand and develop the team.

Experience Required & Other qualities:

• 5+ years of in the similar field
• Previous experience of working with technical documentation or planning for EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) operations.
• You have a technical education or equivalent work experience.
• Within the team, resources are allocated abroad, and you therefore need to feel comfortable in an international context and to communicate in English and Swedish in speech and writing.
