Accenture’s Pega Practice is part of Accenture’s global capability network and supports clients across industries such as banking, insurance, public sector, and utilities. We operate at the intersection of business and technology, delivering large-scale, mission-critical Pega solutions. We are now looking for a Pega Technical Architect (Senior System Architect) who thrives in building, shaping, and driving. In this role, you will not only design and deliver high-quality Pega solutions, but also act as a founding technical leader, helping establish standards, mentor team members, and grow our Pega capability.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead and driver in building and delivering Pega solutions
• Lead the technical design and architecture of Pega applications aligned with business goals
• Serve as Senior System Architect (SSA) on Pega implementations and transformations
• Help establish and evolve development standards, best practices, and ways of working
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, architectural principles, and quality standards
• Own overall solution design including integrations, data models, performance, and security
• Mentor and coach Pega developers and junior architects as the team grows
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and solution architects
• Proactively identify risks, technical gaps, and improvement opportunities — and drive them to resolution

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Typically 6+ years of experience working with Pega in complex, enterprise-scale implementations
• Strong hands-on experience as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA)
• Pega SSA certification is strongly preferred (LSA is a plus)
• Solid understanding of Pega architecture, case management, rules engine, integrations, and deployment models
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, messaging, databases) and performance optimization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices is an advantage
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive work independently
• Comfortable working in an environment where not everything is defined upfront
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
• Resident in Sweden
