Privacy Legal Counsel

This role will give you a broad network within the payments and fintech industry and will provide a good insight into working in a regulated environment. The work will be done both independently and in close dialogue with the legal team and Qliro’s management team, and you will report directly to the Head of Legal.

More about the role

As a PrivacyLegal Counsel, you will assist the entire organization with qualified legal and regulatory advice. You are an expert within the field of privacy and will primarily work with GDPR and consumer issues both in the first line but also supporting the company’s DPO and management in privacy-related matters. You will furthermore manage different contract negotiations, with a focus on IT contracts, vendor assessments, marketing, and commercial agreements. Furthermore, you will work broadly with our products and services, analyze various types of strategic business setups, and work with market actors in e-commerce, such as merchants, marketplaces, e-platforms, banks, and other fintech companies.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant work experience with a focus on GDPR from a law firm, company, financial authority, or other regulated activity. Also with knowledge of consumer law, consumer credit, and commercial agreements is advantageous. We also value if you have experience of working with banking and finance-related legal matters.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and ambitious and have a great interest in business issues. You are service- and solution-oriented but also have integrity and a basic understanding of working in a regulated environment. We believe that you thrive in a dynamic environment and strive to deliver high quality. In this role we require that you are fluent in Swedish and English, both speaking and in writing.
