Product Developer NCC Industry

Business Area NCC Industry is a Nordic organization specializing in solutions within stone materials, asphalt production, and paving. In our Stone Materials Division, we are looking for someone who wants to help us develop our products for the sustainable society of the future. In our Nordic countries, each citizen uses on average about 1 kg of stone material per hour, year-round! Stone materials are needed for the construction of houses, roads, railways, and for the production of asphalt and concrete. We want to produce this vital raw material in a sustainable way. This means striving for resource- and energy-efficient production, a good working environment, well-planned logistics, and great consideration for the environment and society.

As a Product Developer in the Stone Materials Division, you will play a central role in developing new products and solutions to meet customer needs and market demand. You will coordinate development projects together with product development managers in all our Nordic departments. You will be responsible for ensuring that product development projects follow the division’s product development process and meet relevant industry standards and regulations.

An important part of your work will be to, through close contact with our customers and sales organization, understand customer needs, market trends, and how these can be integrated into our strategies so that we develop our products accordingly.

You will also be responsible for communicating the progress, challenges, and results of product development projects to various stakeholders within the company. This means you need to have strong English skills and be prepared to work in different locations where development work takes place.

To succeed in the role of Product Developer, we believe you have solid experience working with product development in the aggregates industry or another relevant sector. You have strong business acumen with a good understanding of both traditional and circular business models.

You are fluent in English and a Nordic language, both spoken and written, as communication with various stakeholders is an important part of the work. You should be analytical, solution-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

We see that you have a strong willingness to stay updated on new technologies and trends in the field, and a passion for creating innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Your ability to think strategically and translate customer insights into concrete product ideas will be critical to your success in this role.

The position is permanent, probationary period applies. Location will be at one of NCC’s offices in Solna, Umeå,  Gothenburg, Malmö, Copenhagen or Oslo. Other NCC offices can be discussed.
