Due to our continuous growth, and to strengthen our R&D Product Security Team, we are hiring a Product Security Officer to lead product security engineer teams and coordinate with cross functional teams within R&D and business to develop and implement cybersecurity management and improvement.
Your responsibilities
- Function as responsible entity to implement Hitachi Energy’s cybersecurity standards in the development and maintenance of all products and systems in our portfolio.
- Lead and drive initiatives to ensure the execution of the established security program within the technology department.
- Develop and manage cybersecurity project/program plans, schedules, and budgets for business cybersecurity programs.
- Lead and work with cross-functional teams (including technical and non-technical personnel) to achieve project/program objectives.
- Manage, execute and maintain the IEC 62443 certification program for the business and Improve business cybersecurity program capability.
- Drive the implementation of security policies and procedures, best practices into the business as per IEC 62443
- Monitor and communicate cybersecurity project/program progress to the business and cybersecurity governance team.
- Establish reporting procedures for the business aligned with IEC-62443 frameworks.
- Implement cybersecurity KPIs for the business, monitor and track project/program performance.
- Seize opportunities for new and improved business process solutions embedding cybersecurity aligning with IEC-62443 compliance.
- Represent R&D for Incidents with PSIRT response team and drive necessary collaboration within R&D and business.
- Lead and support Product Security Engineers within R&D.
- Deploy training plans for R&D personnel.
Your background
- Engineering degree in (Computer Science/ Instrumentation/ Electrical or Electronic)
- Masters in cybersecurity or accredited cybersecurity certification.
- Minimum 10+ years of IT/OT industry experience in control system automation ( 6+ years of cybersecurity with emphasis on OT ) or 5 + years as an OT cybersecurity implementer or architect
- Proven track record of successfully delivery of IACS security project/programs to highest security standards
- Experienced in collaboration and coordination with cross functional teams.
- Experienced in team leadership with focus on secure software and solution development
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and technologies relevant to IACS (e.g., risk management, incident response, security controls)
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEC-62443 or IEC-270001 standards and best practices.
- Experience working with various cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).
- Desirable with ISA 99 / 62443 – Cybersecurity Fundamentals specialist /Risk assessment specialist, GIAC, GICSP, CEH certification
- Desirable work experience with cybersecurity in Critical Infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
