Do you want to shape how we manufacture critical components for the energy transition?
We are looking for a Production Engineering Manager to lead and develop our industrial engineering capability within HV Surge Arresters in Ludvika.

This is more than a leadership role—you will act as a system architect for our production, driving flow, digitalization, and performance in a highly specialized manufacturing environment.

You will play a key role in:

  • Building safe, stable, and efficient production processes

  • Reducing lead time and improving flow across the value stream

  • Strengthening quality, productivity, and sustainability

  • Enabling data-driven decision making in production

  • Supporting growth and industrialization of future products

What you will do

  • Lead and develop the Production Engineering team

  • Close collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT, Product Management, and Supply Chain

  • Drive continuous improvement and Lean transformation (OEE, TPT, scrap, flow)

  • Own the industrialization of new products and process changes

  • Ensure robust processes through PFMEA, control plans, and standards

  • Drive capex projects and production upgrades

  • Build a digital roadmap for smarter, more transparent manufacturing

  • Strengthen competence through training and structured ways of working

  • A strong leader with experience in manufacturing / industrial engineering

  • Passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence

  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and digital tools

  • Structured, hands-on, and able to translate strategy into execution

  • A people developer who builds engagement and capability
