Job Description - Programmatic Media Specialist

About the Role


Monks is seeking a Programmatic Specialist for the Media Operations Team. You can expect to support, manage, optimise, and report on media campaigns for a portfolio of clients individually and as part of a broader team. As part of the team, you will be working with both high-profile brands and smaller advertisers. Clients can be local, regional, or global.


Responsibilities:



  • Operate end-to-end programmatic campaigns across DSPs (and related platforms).

  • Set up and traffick campaigns in Google Campaign Manager. 

  • Build and QA campaign setups (audiences, creatives, placements, frequency caps, and tracking).

  • Optimize delivery and performance using delivery pacing, budget management, and bidding strategies.

  • Conduct reporting and performance analysis; deliver insights and recommendations.

  • Monitor campaign health (pixels/tags, measurement, spend, pacing, and trafficking accuracy).

  • Stay current on programmatic trends, privacy changes, and platform updates.


 


About You


The essentials:



  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with programmatic platforms/DSPs, primarily DV360. The Trade Desk and Amazon Ads are nice to have.

  • Strong understanding of targeting, bidding, and optimization (CPM/CPA/ROAS, retargeting, lookalikes, etc.).

  • Proficiency with pixels/tags and campaign measurement concepts (conversion tracking, attribution basics).

  • Advanced in Google Sheets and comfortable with data analysis; basic BI/reporting knowledge.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate insights into actionable changes.

  • Strong organisational skills and attentive to detail. 

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage client relationships effectively.

  • Experience working in a team environment, with a strong team-oriented approach 

  • Communicates well in English and Swedish. 


Not a must, but a plus:



  • Media performance reporting and analysis skills across multiple channels and objectives.

  • Experience in managing client relationships in an embedded support role.

  • Experience with other types of media, particularly OOH/DOOH or Paid Search.
