Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:  Develop a comprehensive project plan encompassing scope definition, task breakdown, resource allocation, timeline creation, and budget management.  Utilize agile methodologies to ensure flexibility and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management:  Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal departments, elected officials, IT staff, external vendors, and citizen representatives. Facilitate communication, gather requirements, and manage expectations.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team, including web strategists, UX designers, Sitevision developers, and content creators. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and assess potential risks and issues. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee that deliverables meet the defined standards and fulfill the project objectives.

Communication & Reporting: Provide regular and transparent project updates to stakeholders through various channels. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and successes.

Proven Experience:  5+ years of demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex web development projects, ideally within a public sector or government environment.

Project Management Expertise:  Solid understanding and practical application of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).  Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency:  A good understanding of web technologies and development processes. Familiarity with Sitevision CMS is a plus.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage project teams. Strong collaboration and conflict-resolution skills.
