Project Manager – €40m Hyperscale Data Centre Package | Sweden

We are currently working with a specialist contractor who have secured a five-year programme of major projects across Scandinavia, delivering significant packages of work on hyperscale data centre developments.

As part of their initial project, a hyperscale data centre development in Sweden, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for a €40 million package of works.

The package will encompass a broad range of enabling and associated infrastructure works, including accommodation blocks, service roads, temporary services and associated civil engineering works.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in major project delivery and ideally experience within the data centre sector, although this is not essential. A civil engineering background would be highly advantageous, alongside a proven track record of managing complex projects and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading the delivery of a €40m package from mobilisation through to completion.

* Managing programme, commercial performance, budgets, and resources.

* Driving project performance against agreed timescales, quality, and cost targets.

* Managing and developing relationships with senior client and stakeholder teams.

* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

* Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities, and contractual issues.

* Ensuring robust health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout delivery.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a contractor with a strong forward order book and a five-year pipeline of work across Scandinavia. Package:

* £120,000 per annum

* Company vehicle

* 3 weeks in Sweden / 1 week in home country rotation
