QA Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

Our new and modern Malmö office, located conveniently right by the train station, is looking for a QA Engineer to join us along the ride in creating cutting edge messaging services fulfilling our vision of "Simplifying life by bringing all people and businesses together". We are offering a flexible working environment as well as a hybrid working model to all our engineers. 

As our new QA Engineer you will:

• Have joint ownership of master test plan
• Take ownership of the test environment
• Design and execute tests
• Design and deliver relevant reports for Engineering and Operations departments
• Collect feedback from the other departments and decide on quality-enhancing measures
• Participate in the CI development

Requirements

You’re passionate about quality and have a knack for breaking things. To take things to their limit and beyond is something you do naturally and you feel right at home discussing the results of your havocs in lengthy sessions with anyone willing to listen.

In order to contribute you need:

• To be used to working with agile QA, with CI/CD-pipelines and TDD
• Java programming skills and used to scripting
• Experience working with VMWare and Docker
• Experience working with Ansible
• Experience working with GitLab and Jenkins
• Experience working with Maven
• Experience working with databases and SQL programming
• To have worked with REST and JSON
• AWS experience
• Linux experience

It is a big plus if you:

• Have worked with different test suites
• Have worked with Terraform
• Have worked with IntelliJ
• Have experience with K8s and/or OpenShift
• Are used to Azure and/or GCP
• Have worked with data pipelines and monitoring tools
• Have worked with other programming languages like Python or Bash
• Have robust experience of QA in large scale global operation platforms
• Have a strong background in Oracle DB Management and Optimization
• Have a strong background in continuous integration
