Quality Control Engineer

We are now seeking for a Quality Control Enginner to one of our customers in Lund. 

Scope of the assignment

The candidate will report to Head of Quality & Compliance Division but support the sub-projects to work with Quality Control activities such as:
•Responsible for compliance reviews on technical documents.
•Provide regulatory and technical advice to the projects and organisation.
•Review and approve the overall Quality control/inspection plans for the project.
•Review and manage external providers Quality Control routines.
•Perform installation inspections in close collaboration with the Installation team and Work package Managers.
•Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing activities
•Perform FAT and SAT on deliverables
•Perform pre-shipment or receiving inspections on project deliveries, at supplier or on arrival.
•Review and compile technical documentation related to Quality records.

Required education background and professional experience

Bachelor in relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent and relevant work experience, alternatively proven experience from similar tasks combined with relevant work experience.
Deep knowledge in European directives, especially:
•Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU)
•Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
and related National codes is seen as a must.

At least 6-8 years of work experience in the field of Quality Control within the mechanical domain.

Your focus is on customer needs and satisfaction and you monitor and maintain a high level of quality and productivity in your deliveries. Excellent oral and written English skills and a well-developed ability for both collaborative and independent work are expected.

Computer literate and proficient user of MS Office
If you have experience of working in a highly regulated business/organization such as a research facility, nuclear industry, life science, oil&gas it is a major advantage.
