The Opportunity

As the Financial Services Regional Manager, you will be a cornerstone of Polestar’s Financial Services regional team. You’ll work across diverse stakeholders, overseeing business operations and championing the performance of our financial services solutions. From enabling competitive financing products to enhancing the customer journey, your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction, profitability, and our journey to becoming an electric vehicle leader.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all financial services-related topics for the markets, including floorplans, retail finance, and insurance.
• Drive and support governance structures and ensure market-specific alignment with financial service goals.
• Develop competitive financing strategies, including benchmarking, price analysis, offer and campaign creation.

Operational Excellence:

• Support campaign implementation and enable FS products for new car model launches.
• Oversee and drive retail finance and insurance performance, defining initiatives to boost profitability.
• Manage customer care cases, ensuring compliance with legal and digital requirements.

Customer-Centric Initiatives:

• Collaborate with market teams as well Customer Experience (CX) team to enhance the financial services journey and satisfaction in the markets.
• Align internal and external stakeholders for seamless operational delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

With a solid foundation in operational excellence and process optimization, you will bring a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry's value chain. Your expertise spans various domains, including sales, marketing, and financial management. You excel in leveraging data-driven decision-making to address complex challenges effectively.

Key Competencies:

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance operational processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. 

Skills & Expertise:

• Proven experience in management consulting, banking, or automotive finance, with expertise in trade finance and receivables finance solutions.
• Ideal to bring solid accounting as well as financial process understanding and prior experience
• Business acumen to prepare financial guidance and business cases that drive decision-making.

Ability to coordinate and execute tasks involving multiple stakeholders across regions
