Job Description - Strategy Associate (f/m/d)

We’re looking for a sharp and hands-on Strategy Associate to join our CEO/CFO office. You’ll work directly with our leadership team on a broad range of topics – from crafting investor and board presentations to driving internal strategic projects and building management systems.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, has strong analytical and communication skills, and wants to help shape the growth trajectory of a climate-tech scale-up from the inside out.

YOUR TASKS

Prepare high-quality materials for investors, the board, and management team.
Drive strategic and operational planning processes across the company.
Support internal projects with program and project management.
Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform decision-making.
Research markets, trends, and competitors in the battery, solar, and heat sectors.
Be a sparring partner for the leadership team and help turn ideas into structured initiatives.
Build clarity and alignment in an organization growing quickly.

1–2 years of experience in management consulting, a high-growth startup/scale-up, or a corporate strategy role
Engineering or technical background with a strong strategic/business mindset
Solid skills in presentation building and financial modeling – the classic “consulting toolbox”
Interest or experience in climate tech, energy, batteries, solar, or industrial heat
Comfortable working independently, but collaborative and low-ego
Bonus: internships in relevant areas or roles if you're applying straight out of university
