Technical Support Specialist with focus on APAC

About the role

As our Technical Support Specialist with focus on the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region, you’ll be the goto expert for our distributor partners and customers across APAC, with a particular focus on China. Your mission is to help others succeed in their research by providing worldclass technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting on our immunoassay products.

You’ll work closely with our Distributor Account Manager for APAC, becoming a trusted link between our Nacka Strand headquarters (just outside Stockholm) and labs across the region. The role is based in our headquarter but you will have the possibility to work from home occassionally.  

What you’ll do

• Act as a scientific liaison between Mabtech and distributor/customer laboratories in China and other APAC countries.

• Train distributor technical teams and support customer onboarding.

• Provide expert technical support on assay performance, troubleshooting, and methodological questions (ELISpot, FluoroSpot, ELISA, and multiplex assays).

• Prepare and deliver scientific presentations, documentation, and training materials tailored to the APAC market.

• Manage and document customer complaints, ensuring fast and effective resolution.

• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to relay customer feedback and suggest improvements.

About you

We think you might be:

• Fresh from your MSc or PhD, with a genuine passion for immunology, cell biology, or a related life science field.

• Excited to work in a scientific environment, even if your days aren’t spent at the lab bench.

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with an ability to bridge cultures and build relationships.

• Experienced with immunoassays (ELISA, ELISpot, FluoroSpot) and possibly other techniques like flow cytometry or multiplex assays.

• Proactive, serviceminded, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points if you have prior experience with the Chinese or APAC research market.
