IKEA Älmhult AB is a company within Inter IKEA Group with a unique role to support the positioning of “IKEA in Älmhult” and the development of Älmhult as an attractive and great place to work, live and visit. The three main areas of assignment are Inter IKEA Group in Sweden assignments, Public affairs Inter IKEA Group in Sweden with special focus on IKEA Älmhult AB (including the Hotel, Museum and Aktivitetshuset) and Holding company for IKEA Property.

In this position you are responsible to lead and deliver into the long-term Risk and Compliance plan for IKEA Älmhult AB. Together with your stakeholders you will make sure that the Risk & Compliance activities support the organizational needs and you ensure that activities are integrated in IKEA Älmhult AB’s processes.

As Risk & Compliance Leader, you ensure that risk management is integrated into the annual business planning process at IKEA Älmhult AB. To enable that you will identify risks, agree on mitigation activities and set priorities together with your stakeholders. The Risk & Compliance leader of IKEA Älmhult AB will have a matrix relation with the Risk & Compliance community at Inter IKEA Group.

To be able to meet the expectations and future needs the Risk & Compliance Leader has the main responsibility when it comes to:

• Lead the overall risk management process for IKEA Älmhult AB
• Report on risks in a relevant way for different audiences; e.g. board, management and other senior business leaders to ensure they are aware of risks that are relevant to their parts of the business
• Secure an effective risk based compliance and internal control practice within IKEA Älmhult AB and report on the level of compliance with Inter IKEA Group steering documents and regulatory requirements
• Ensure that Safety & Security risks are identified, assessed and treated adequately by applying Inter IKEA Group steering documents and local legislation
• Ensure that crisis and continuity management routines and trainings are in place and performed
• Actively contribute to the Risk & Compliance community within Inter IKEA Group

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal control and/or internal audit.
• Experience in working with Health, Safety & Security in an operational position
• Experience in relation to property-management is considered to be a plus
