Job Description - Risk Specialist

We are looking for a Risk Specialist in SkellefteÃ¥

On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Risk Specialist.

The Risk Specialist is responsible for the implementation of risk management practices at a project and program level. The Risk Specialist facilitates project risk workshops to identify and quantify discrete risks, ensures that risk mitigation plans are documented and implemented, and provides risk-related content for project and program reports and presentations. The Risk Specialist reports to the site Director Project Controls and works closely with project directors, project managers, project controls, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure that risks and mitigation actions are communicated effectively and accurately to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

â¢ University degree in engineering, business administration, accounting, economics, or finance.

â¢ 2 or more years of risk management experience on industrial projects greater than â¬50 million

â¢ In-depth knowledge of risk management practices and concepts

â¢ Ability to work without supervision and to meet deadlines under pressure.

â¢ Ability to process, analyze and draw meaningful conclusions from large volumes of data.

â¢ Ability to extrapolate meaningful information from statistical analysis.
