Security Foundation Year: DevOps Engineer, Internal Operations

We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Internal Operations department, with a unique opportunity to develop security skills during a dedicated Security Foundation Year under the mentorship of a highly experienced Senior Security Architect.

Working as an engineer in Internal Operations

You will work in one of the teams focused on internal engineering and efficiency, paving the way for the rest of the development organization.

The team's responsibilities include continuous integration and build systems, test automation, tools and system administration. Together as a department we create software that helps millions of patients worldwide.

Our teams are organized into agile, self-organized groups with a shared passion for technology. The team is responsible for both the design, implementation, and quality of our products. Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

• Solving complex and interesting problems.

• Working with modern tools and solutions. We are currently adopting automation and cloud solutions in many areas.

• Continuously improving our development, test and continuous integration environments.

• Be part of a team with joint responsibility for delivery and working in close cooperation with the stakeholders.

Security Foundation Year

During your first year, you will have the opportunity to develop your security skills through a dedicated Security Foundation Year. You will receive mentorship from a highly experienced Senior Security Architect and gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Network Security
• Server Security
• Secure service design with a focus on availability
• Operational monitoring
• Security monitoring

In addition to these abilities, we also want you to:

• Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering, IT or similar with a strong academic record.
• Have a background or interest in IT security.

• Have a strong interest in new and innovative technology and software development.

• • Programming Expertise: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, rather than mastery of one specific language.
  • Operating Systems: Hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Scripting Skills: Competence in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Cloud and Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud computing and infrastructure, including OpenStack and Azure.
  • System Administration: Knowledge of system administration in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Network and Server Configuration: Ability to configure networks and servers effectively.
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.
• Value customer contact and thrive in a fast-paced technological environment.

We consider it a great asset if you:

• Have experience of software development using agile methods.

• Speak more languages than those required above.

• Have interests besides school and work; Such as sports, music, board games, computer games, singing or flying.
