Security Incident Response Leader

We are looking for a Security Incident Response Leader to join us at Telia Cygate.

My name is Martin Spiik, Head of Security Services, and I’m looking for someone who wants to grow together with us. We are a supportive and forward‑looking team focused on delivering high-quality managed security services, with strong collaboration between SOC analysts, engineers, architects, and incident responders to protect our enterprise customers.

What you’ll do:

In this key Lead Expert (process leadership) role, you will take ownership of how we manage and evolve our incident response capabilities across our managed services offering. You’ll work closely with both technical specialists and stakeholders, ensuring structured, effective, and continuously improving incident handling.

• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity incident response activities in line with frameworks such as SANS
• Drive strategic incident management across both internal operations and customer-facing services
• Together with your peers, you contribute in process development within incident response, vulnerability management, and internal security incident handling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SOC, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing detection capabilities and how we identify abnormal behavior and threats
• Drive service development and create synergies across our security offerings

You will also be part of an on-call rotation.

What will help you thrive in this role:

We’re looking for a strong communicator and structured process leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving change.

• 10–15 years of experience within the IT sector, with a solid understanding of enterprise IT, networks, and security
• Around 5 years of experience within cybersecurity or hands-on work with ITIL processes
• Strong experience in process-based leadership, ideally within incident response, ITIL, or project-driven environments
• Ability to balance internal and external stakeholders, translating technical situations into clear communication
• Understanding of regulatory requirements within security and IT environments
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Swedish (native or near-native) and good English
