This position is placed at our office in Stockholm where we apply a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home. You will be reporting directly to CFO.

Tasks

As our only Accountant, you’ll play a key role in our Finance function, including:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations for our three countries
• Accounts payable and receivable
• VAT, employer taxes, and other declarations
• Monthly closing and support with annual accounts
• Managing expense reports, receipts, and reimbursements
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Improving and automating financial processes and systems
• Taking on ad hoc tasks that come with working in a fast-paced startup

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a dynamic or startup environment
• Solid understanding of Swedish accounting standards and tax regulations
• Comfortable working with accounting software
• Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented
• Eager to improve processes and take ownership
• Fluent in both Swedish and English
