Senior Legal Counsel Data Privacy, Marketing & Data Monetization

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to take a central role in supporting our business in matters related to data management, digital marketing, and commercial partnerships. You will work closely with the business to ensure that our models for data monetization and partner-based marketing are aligned with applicable laws and the bank’s ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on data protection matters (including GDPR) related to new and existing digital services.
• Offer legal support in areas such as marketing, customer data, loyalty programs, and partner collaborations.
• Develop and implement legal models for data monetization, including risk assessments and consent frameworks.
• Negotiate and review agreements related to data sharing and commercial partnerships.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and contribute to the evolution of internal policies on privacy, marketing compliance, and data sharing.
• Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional projects involving IT, compliance, product owners, and external partners.

Your Profile:

• Law degree with a minimum of 7 years of qualified legal experience, preferably within banking, tech, law firms, or regulatory bodies.
• Proven experience in data protection and marketing law.
• Strong understanding of digital business development, data-driven business models, and commercial partnerships.
• Excellent analytical skills, clear communication style, and the ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
