To help us scale, we are looking to grow the engineering team and for a Senior Product Manager who has a passion for delivering simple, high-quality products. You will be the Product Manager on one of our cross-functional teams, responsible for setting the product vision, taking ownership of the team's deliverables, and ensuring the team thrives and grows.

You will coach team members, participate in the team's overall recruitment, and support Insurely's organizational growth efforts. You will strike a good balance between strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in the team's operations. Your key responsibility will be to empower the team to gain a high-level perspective and work more strategically when developing products.

In this role, you will be part of a team transforming the insurance and banking industry in the Nordics market, and you will contribute to this transformation!

How you'll be part of changing an industry

Here are some examples of things we'd like you to engage in and take the lead on:

You will be responsible for setting an inspiring vision, strategy, definition of success and key metrics for our products.

You will be expected to be the product evangelist inside and outside the organization, being an ambassador of the product and showcasing its value for the customers.

You’lll be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team through the full lifecycle of product development and solving for customer’s problems.

You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to design and execute an effective go-to-market strategy for newly shipped products and features.

• The daily activities will involve:

  • Active participation in team ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives in order for the team to deliver on the product roadmap.

  • In addition, you will be expected to collect, understand and validate the real needs of users to inform product iterations and communicate those needs clearly to the team.

  • You’ll build relationships with our customers and internal teams, uncover their highest priority needs, and translate those needs into scalable functionality.

  • You’ll continuously update product roadmaps based on market and stakeholder input

  • You’ll contribute to the evolution of Product Management competence in the company.

What we look for

An expert in the full product development process including discovery, delivery and scale.

Proven experience on creation of a product vision, definition of success criteria and establishments of measurable KPIs to track progress engaging in technical discussions with the team.

Previous experience building B2B, e-commerce, Fintech or Insurtech or similar API based global SaaS products will be a big plus.

Strong business knowledge experience within the P&C insurance, pension or investment industries in Sweden is a big plus.

A person who is incredibly high focused on our customers.

A team player and a maestro of collaboration.

A master of stakeholder management with excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

Familiar with in agile and lean development methodologies

Experience in constructing business cases to support prioritization and business decisions.
