SPS is now searching for a senior project manager with a solid track record from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry who would like to join our team. We offer an inspiring and challenging workplace. You will report directly to the Global director PMO and will be a part of the project management team.

About the position

As senior project manager you will be in close contact with our customers (internal and external) in complex projects within development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and drug-device combination products and production care. Our development projects include all phases of pharmaceutical development, from early concept research to scale-up and transfer to production. Next to development projects and production care projects, internal investment projects are within the scope of this senior project manager position. Part of the role includes project data analysis and adaptations and maintenance of our project management tool.

At Sever Pharma Solutions, projects are conducted in accordance with our internal project model which involves project management activities in all steps from customer inquiry and project initiation to project execution and delivery. You will have close cooperation with all other departments in the company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver within the constraints of the project in terms of time, budget, and scope


• Develop financially justified business cases, reflecting the project value for the client and for Sever Pharma Solutions


• Coordinate work efforts, keep up the pace and provide clarity through active day-to-day management


• Update and maintain our project management system, with project details, schedules, resources, financials, project logs, and status


• Take responsibility for ensuring that relevant project documentation is stored


• Maintain project financials (in terms of cost, revenue, and budget)


• Plan, and control all work included in the project.


• Visualize the project's content and results


• Agree on resources and manage the project team


• Manage project uncertainty through active risk management


• Lead (or participate in) developing project quotations


• Contribute to improving ways of working, systems, processes, and training


• Data analysis and project management tool maintenance

Qualifications and experience

• Academic degree or comparable. Background in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biological, or related field. 10+ years of experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare, pharma, or medical devices).


• Good understanding of GMP procedures and the way of working in the pharmaceutical industry


• Extensive experience in managing multiple complex projects, programs, and/or portfolios in parallel


• Experience in building long-term partnerships with clients, based on a combination of technology platforms


• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, including pharmaceutical development, pharmaceutical engineering, analytical development, clinical supplies, regulatory, and other CMC related roles


• Strong financial background or education, with experience in managing budgets, costs, and profitability


• Preferably, certifications in project management techniques and methodologies (e.g., PMI, IPMA, etc.) and experience with agile project management


• Experience in working with advanced project management and business intelligence tools and systems.
