Skills

Ph.D. or M.Sc. within the field of Applied Mechanics or similar.

Excellent skills in Finite Element Analyses with regards to strength, fatigue, and structural dynamics. Experience from engine, transmission and powertrain development is meritorious. Further competence as technical knowledge and experience in electrical drive systems is also qualifying. You enjoy working in a team and have ability to inspire colleagues around you. Your communication and networking skills are highly valued, as the job requires daily contact within and outside the organization.


Language: Fluent in both English and Swedish.

Main CAE tools to use: ADINA (similar as ANSYS, ABAQUS, Nastran), ANSA, META and FEMFAT.


Work description

Your role and main responsibility are to perform strength, fatigue, and response analyses of mainly engines, transmissions, and powertrain systems. The work includes marine and industrial applications for both traditional and electric drive systems. You will communicate the analyzed results and be active in the design process.

CAE Team

You will be part of an experienced and highly performing simulation & analysis team working within many different CAE areas. We continuously develop and improve our methods and way of working. We use modern commercial CAE software’s and powerful hardware to meet the high set demands.
