As our new SRE Lead, you will have the responsibility to lead the operations of our Digital Construction Services Platform (DCSP). Your job is to make sure all cloud infrastructure is easy to use for developers and to plan for scaling and new development. In the day-to-day operations, you will lead our devops team and work closely with the platform team. An important part is also to communicate with all product teams which builds digital services and to make sure they have everything they need in terms of cloud infrastructure and tooling. This includes monitoring and incident management but also to help with troubleshooting issues within our environments.
We continuously work to monitor the outside world to learn and improve, we think you have the same mindset and closely follow the devops space and have a wish to innovate and improve the platform. You have a fantastic opportunity to be part of setting the foundation, influence and run various improvement initiatives. We trust you to make a difference and to create the foundation for our devops team and all the product teams that are using the platform.
You might have a background as an Operations Engineer or similar and are interested in operating at both a business and technical level. We think that you are curious as a person, a problem solver and thrive to improve technology. You will plan and manage scaling our infrastructure and platform while focusing on security, performance and availability. Furthermore, we prefer that you have developer experience and want to take a hands-on role in improving developer experience in the platform.
Other qualification we think you have:
• Experience with Azure or another public cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience in database system administration, preferly PostgreSQL.
• Experience in working with containers and Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, back-up & recovery solutions.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
