Software Engineer; Automotive / Gothenburg

What You Will Do:
As our Software Responsible Engineer, you will oversee existing and new parts in current and upcoming car projects and electrical architectures. Your role involves developing solutions within cross-functional teams to meet design prerequisites and  standards within specified time and cost frames. You will investigate and resolve software issues close to the hardware, optimizing product performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, functional products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with suppliers and customers regarding node software, Basetech, and Diagnostics-related queries.


• Establish software requirements in the SWRS (Software Requirement Specification) Application, Basetech, Cybersecurity, and Diagnostics.


• Ensure alignment of committed requirements in SWRT (Software Requirement Traceability matrix) and monitor implementation status.


• Monitor SDB (Signal Data Base) changes affecting software.


• Ensure timely delivery of all software components according to customer software plans and compliance with rules and processes.


• Manage software issues in the Software Jira system.

Required Skills and Experience:
While competence and experience are important, we value personality above all. We seek a motivated software engineer with extensive professional development experience, preferably within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they should be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and building networks to achieve goals.

Tools:
Experience with SystemWeaver, TeamCenter, Carcom, Elektra, Jira, and ConfigHub is preferred. Proficiency in using CanOE/CAN-analyzer and analyzing logs is highly advantageous.
