Software Engineering Team Leader

Your Role

As the leader of a highly motivated team your main role will be to work closely with the CIO and lead our growing Engineering team to build the next generation of our platforms.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement our next generation booking platforms using various configuration management technologies.
• Lead the software engineering Team
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure high standards in products delivery, quality, and performance
• Implement process improvements
• Elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
• Foster excellent relationships with other colleagues and departments
• Demonstrate team and personal accountability that delivers good value and drives results

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Relevant experience in a similar position, having led software engineering teams
• Hands on experience with C#, ASP.NET, .net Core, Java, Java Spring, Angular
• Hands on experience with Relational Databases (MS SQL) and Document Databases (Mongo DB)
• Experience with Windows/Linux Administration
• Working experience with GIT, GIT Flow
• Excellent understanding of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)

• Hands on experience working in Agile teams, processes, and practices
• Excellent command of English
• Great analytical skills and an outstanding attention to detail
• Results-driven personality, with energy, commitment, and a passion for personal development
• Excellent team spirit and a strong will to lead your colleagues by example
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully resolve issues
