Solution Engineer/Technical Writer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Solution Engineer with strong technical writing skills to lead the creation of comprehensive data and API documentation in line with the EU Data Act. This is a key role ensuring legal compliance while enabling seamless integration through clear, accurate, and accessible documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation aligned with the EU Data Act, including OpenAPI specifications and structured data definitions.
• Create and manage code lists, vocabularies, and standardized terms relevant to the domain.
• Document data models, workflows, and business processes.
• Work closely with legal, technical, and business teams to gather input and validate content.
• Establish and maintain processes to keep documentation accurate, up-to-date, and compliant after go-live.
• Conduct regular audits of documentation to reflect any legislative or technical updates.
• Train and support stakeholders in using documentation effectively and consistently.
• Research and implement best practices and new tools for documentation workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing or documentation in a technical/legal context.
• Strong skills in structuring complex information and writing for clarity.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and API documentation.
• Basic understanding of legal and data governance terminology.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, or Confluence.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
