Working as a Strategic Designer in the Global Incubation Unit, you will have the opportunity to impact existing and new markets by investigatingopportunities anddeveloping world class life savingsolutions and serviceswithin Mobility Safety & Society!

As a member of an Agile Team you are a professional with a "user centric" mindset. Exploring, designing, developing & testing new solutions, products, business models, systems and / or processes andincubating these solutions into viable business opportunities. By researching and analyzing market and industrytrends, as well asexisting solutions, you identify areas for improvement to develop the Autoliv-solutions. Considering user journeys, user wants/needs and balancing cost for the solution,you maintain detailed documentations,continuously improve the design based on closely monitored user and customerfeedback before,during and post-launch.

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

• Staying at the forefront ofcustomer expectations & user needs by leading and guiding others in the analysis of user experience trials
• Ensure that design initiatives on solutions contribute to the overall strategy within the solution domain. Framing the challenges and defining/specifying requirements relevant for the end-user
  
  
• Lead the human-centered approach to our solutions, ensuring that each of our physical or digital products addresses gaps in the market and ultimately fulfills user needs
• Researching and understanding attitudes and motivations that drive people’s behaviors, in order to create impactful business opportunities through empathetic design for given solutions
• Mentor and teach the team in concluding market trends, competitor landscapes and customer wants &needs
• Create user personas and journeys, storytelling and drive the concept and usability testing of our products
• As a "Craft lead" you will follow-up the capability ofthe design crafts in the global teams (eg. all Strategic Designers & Experience/UX Designers), identify gaps in competencies, propose solutions or identify external needs
• Educate and guide the team through aninnovative and systematic approach to problem solving - a “Design Thinking” approach
• Being willing to get your hands dirty - eg.building prototypes, test ideas of the team and "swarm" around the team backlog of items

and if you have/are:

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree within a Design fieldor equivalent
• 4-6+ years of industry relevant experience
• Experience in Design Thinking Methodology, Agile frameworks and / Lean start-up
• Experience from customer &consumerinteractions
  
  
• Experience in leading, empowering and motivating people
• Experience from UX (software/hardware) is a merit
• Experience from UI development (software) is a merit
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
