Job Description

Technical Project Buyer with focus in areas such as hydraulic parts, machined steel parts, electronics and other standard materials. You will be part of a technical purchasing team which directly contributes to our company's result through beneficial contracts, high service grade, and good supplier relations. We work cross-functionally within the company, both locally and internationally, e.g. with logistics, production, quality and engineering departments - as well as externally with suppliers.

The role includes, among others, the following main tasks:

• Prepare & execute inquiry packages and screen the base of potential suppliers.
• Conduct technical sourcing reviews with suppliers and check plausibility of offers.
• Independently drive technical and commercial purchasing projects.
• Conduct/support price negotiations of local and global suppliers.
• Act as project manager and first point of contact within defined area of responsibility.

The job includes domestic and international travel of limited extent.

Qualifications

You are an engineer or technical buyer with a university degree, or have practical experience with at least 3 years from engineering or purchasing, or have other relevant experience, e.g. from technical sales.

You have project management skills and a structured way of working, with a strong willingness and motivation to learn. You have a pro-active and flexible working style and good communications skills.

Skilled in digital tools is preferable.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
