About Us
Hitachi rail is a global provider of rail solutions. In Sweden, we are delivering advanced railway signaling systems that meet the highest safety and performance standards.
We are now looking for a Verification and Test Engineer to join our team in Solna, Stockholm.
What You'll Do
Develop, execute and maintain test plans and specifications
Configure and operate lab test environment (simulators, hardware)
Perform functional test in Lab and simulated environment
Perform test in Site environment
Record, analysis and report test results
Collaborate across teams to clarify issues and support problem solving
Your tasks will be performed Local( Labs; desktops) and on Site
Follow EN 50126728/29 standards
Team & Work environment
Small Local team - You'll be joining a compact on-site team in Solna, where your contribution is highly visible and you'll gain broad, hands-on experience
International Collaboration - Much of our engineering support& development comes from Italy, so excellent communication skills and cultural awareness are essential
Proactive mindset- We value engineers who work independently, identify solutions and drive activities forward
What We're Looking For
2-5 years’ experience in testing
Understanding of the V-cycle and requirements-based testing
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field
Experience with test tools, simulators and lab se-ups
Experience with Site work environment is a plus
Basic knowledge of railway signaling concepts
Strong communication skills for multi-site cross-cultural collaboration
