Job Description

The main tasks of the Tender Engineer are to increase sales and profitability for Hydrotech worldwide.
This shall be achieved through sales and marketing support agreed upon with the Sales Director,
Tender Team Leader and supporting the company's goals and general strategies.

The salesperson/Tender Engineer shall develop thorough familiarity and knowledge of the products and their areas of application. In the Tender Team the Tender Engineer will be working with global customers
from singular requests to larger projects based on close dialogue with the Team Leader and Business
Development Managers.

Hydrotech is looking for a Tender Engineer in Vellinge, Sweden !
Responsibilities/tasks:

• Support the salespeople (BMD and Tender team) with various elements and tasks in all steps of the sales process at Hydrotech.
• Write quotes and produce documents/materials for customers and resellers.
• Provide advice and instructions to our customers on how to apply Hydrotech's products to ensure the best overall solution.
• Participate in sales/marketing activities with regard to trade shows and visits to resellers/customers.
• Work actively in CRM systems (Skywater/Salesforce) as well as Smart Sheet and other applicable programs.
• When needed, develop special prices with the help of the design and purchasing department as well as the production and administration department.
• Send process parameters to the process department so that process dimensioning can be done.
• Complete checklists for orders before handing over to the order coordinator/project
• manager. If needed Tender Engineer will get required information and support from BDM and Engineering department.
• Support with reviewing POs/specifications and request additional information when needed, and forward POs to the order coordinator with associated quotes.
• Supporting sales and business development within designated region(s) upon request;
• Work with external and internal Veolia customers
• Supporting with maintaining good relationships with customers and prospects during communication.
• Working as part of the tender team, understanding and contributing to the prequalification and tendering processes in coordination with customers.
• Working with tender activities and that the work is done according to QA and internal signing rules.
• Overseeing, understanding and contributing to the prequalification and tendering processes in coordination with local distributors.
• Regularly communicate to the Team Leader/Sales team on different project progress against current goals.
• Follow up quotations/projects on a regular basis in coordination to valid Sales team guidelines.
• Perform other administrative tasks and take part in other work tasks that are relevant in the department.

Location : Vellinge, Sweden

Duration : 24 months

Remuneration : 3069,92€ net/month (according to the rates of January 2025)

Benefits : 30 days' leave per 12 months / Tax-free / French pension contribution

Qualifications

• Educational background: Engineering.
• Professional background: At least a year of experience in related field/position.
• Languages: English.
