On behalf of the client, we are seeking a web strategist. As a Web Strategist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our online platforms. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive web strategy that aligns with the municipality's overall communication goals, enhances user experience, and drives meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop a clear and actionable web strategy that encompasses website and intranet goals, target audiences, key performance indicators (KPIs), content strategy, and technology considerations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders across the municipality to understand their needs, objectives, and content requirements for the websites and intranet.
User Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify user needs, behaviors, and preferences. Stay abreast of current web trends, best practices, and accessibility standards.
Information Architecture: Plan and design the information architecture and user journeys for the websites and intranet to ensure optimal navigation, findability, and user experience.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging, informative, and accessible content that meets user needs and supports the municipality's communication objectives.
Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the web strategy and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive web strategies that align with organizational goals.
Digital Expertise: Strong understanding of web design principles, content management systems (CMS), user experience (UX) best practices, and digital accessibility standards.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct user research, analyze data, and draw meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
