Business Controller, Logistics Region Europe Cluster North

Job Description

H&M Logistics Region Europe comprises of three Clusters: Central-East, South and North Europe, where H&M operates logistics centres. We are actively recruiting a Business Controller for Cluster North , which encompasses the following countries: Sweden, UK, Norway, Denmark & South Africa.

As the Business Controller of Cluster North, you contribute to leading the Cluster towards strategic and operational goals through controlling, securing strong customer experience as well as operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Controlling. Driving key financial processes, such as Budget, Forecast, Monthly Cut. Strengthening our financial performance by identifying potential to optimize and improve operations.
• Operational controlling. Monitor performance to identify potential to optimize and improve operations to strengthen service level, sustainability, or cost efficiency, together with regional and local counterparts.
• Responsible for Cluster dashboards and reports, providing support in ad-hoc data request and analysis.
• Developing controlling methods and tools to improve operational and financial monitoring.
• Driving investments, projects, and business cases from a financial perspective, optimizing how capex and resources are used, to drive the short- and long-term development of our business.
• Supporting commercial processes in the Cluster, e.g. tender processes, vendor data analysis and vendor selection.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has strong leadership capabilities, adept at translating analysis into actionable strategies through effective ambassadorship and collaboration. Additionally, you excel as a problem solver, equipped with an analytical mindset. Your adept communication and presentation skills enable you to distill complex situations into easily understandable formats. You navigate interactions seamlessly with both central and regional teams and stakeholders, internally and externally, across various seniority levels.

What you need to succeed:

• Extensive experience from operational and financial controlling within Logistics, with proven analytical capability and capacity.
• Years of experience as a leader, with direct or indirect leadership responsibility.
• Strong operational knowledge and experience from Warehouse Operations, from both Retail and E-Commerce.

Additional Information

This role is a full-time position , starting as soon as possible with direct reporting to the Regional Sales and Warehouse Operations Manager of Cluster North. The role is based in the Nordic countries or the UK , with the option for hybrid working. Travel and a valid work permit are required.
