Legal Counsel

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Legal Counsel, you will join the small, supportive Corporate Legal department at Fenix Outdoor working towards our international group of outdoor brands. This is a true generalist role, where each day will look different, and you will be able to work on a diverse variety of tasks. As a team player, you will bring a responsive, pragmatic, and business-orientated approach to your work and act as a trusted advisor within the organisation.

This position is a full time, 13-month parental leave cover based from our Solna office in Stockholm, SE starting from September 2024. The role will report directly through to our Head of Corporate Legal.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist the entire organization in various legal matters with a focus on general business law, commercial contract law, data privacy, consumer law and labour law.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to Distribution Agreements, Manufacturing Agreements, Purchasing Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, etc.
• Being a legal point of contact for business and help them to minimize risks.
• Work closely with HR, DPO and Compliance departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Pro-actively create and maintain awareness among business employees regarding (compliance with) relevant laws and regulations.

WHO YOU ARE

We think you could be a great match for the position if you possess the following traits and capabilities:

• Law degree from a European University.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position within a law firm or corporate setting.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law and experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of IT-law, GDPR, consumer law, marketing law and labour law is highly meriting.
• Experience from a company preferably with international orientation and understanding of retail and wholesale trade operations would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical ability and a problem-solving mindset.
• Great communication skills with an ability to build productive, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong work ethic with a positive outlook who thrives in a busy, commercially oriented, and hands-on environment.
• High level of integrity and drive, with a proven ability to plan effectively and deliver on deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Swedish is required, German language skills would be a plus.
